Description
In September 1992, Dr. Rolf F. from Isernhagen ordered a silver Mercedes 300 CE - 24 convertible from Mercedes in Hanover. At this point in time, the hydraulic operated softtop was still calculated at a probably generously amount DEM 3,500 net! The total price of the car was DEM 110,212.78 incl.
The following year, Mr. F. ordered the successor model in Hanover. A beautiful E 320 Cabrio - again in silver metallic, with black leather and manual gearbox. Now the hydraulic operation of the rather large, black softtop was no longer charged separately.
The total amount for this E 320 convertible that we are now offering in July 1993 was an impressive DEM 118,510.03 incl.
This Mercedes remained in the hands of Mr. F., born in 1942, from July 14, 1993 to March 2, 2004.
Then the 124 was renamed to his wife, born in 1944.
The de-registration took place in July 2020. Since then, our convertible has been in a small but fine collection, has only been moved extremely sparingly, but is no longer registered.
The total mileage today is 46,115 kilometers. The Mercedes drives simply fantastic ! The car is incredibly tight, nothing rattles or squeaks, it gives the impression of a much fresher car. It's hard to imagine that this Mercedes has already passed 30 years ! Connoisseurs also appreciate the pleasant smell of the interior.
We are not aware of any other E 320 on the market with the sporty 5-speed manual transmission in even close to the condition here !
