Description
The BMW 2000 CS offered here was produced by Karmann on March 9, 1967. Only a little later, on March 20, 1967, it was delivered to Zurüch, the recipient was the MOTAG company.
Mr. W. L. from Basel is listed as the first owner from April 10, 1967, delivered via Niederhauser Automobile in Thurnia.
According to the only owner in Germany, Mr. Heinz B. F. from Gifhorn, born in 1955, the mentioned Swiss was the only owner of the BMW before it was registered in Germany. To date, the car has only had two registered owners in around 57 years!!
It was approved in Germany on June 11, 2004 and decommissioned in April 2022.
This BMW Coupé is largely still in its original condition. Even large parts of the paint probably still come from the factory. The leather and carpet also appear to be completely original to us. We also suspect the wood is still unrestored, with the piece above the steering column needing some love.
In our opinion, this BMW 2000 CS has never been restored and is in incredible condition. Especially considering that these coupés manufactured by Karmann are known for their great rust resistance!
The vehicle file contains numerous documents from the BMW's recent past, as well as the original service booklet and the operating instructions. And these booklets also shine thanks to their very well-maintained condition.
