Description
On May 22, 1970, this Ford Mustang 302 BOSS "Sports Roof" was built in Dearborn, Michigan, USA for export.
We have the “Elite Marti Report” before us.
We have some registration documents from Sweden - from 1976. Is it conceivable that this Mustang was only registered in Sweden?! After all, this BOSS has a speedometer that goes up to 200 - we're assuming this is km/h, not miles. And since the car was clearly intended for export, it would at least be possible.
How many Ford BOSS Mustangs were actually exported to Europe? And what proportion of survivors are there? That can only be very few!
The Mustang has been redesigned with a lot of effort. They stuck very closely to the original specifications. The original exterior color yellow, code "D", the interior in black vinyl code "BA", the 4-speed manual transmission, code "5", the rear spoiler, etc., have been retained.
The Mustang was not yet registered in Germany, but the TÜV inspection including the classic car report has already taken place.
As befits a US car from the 60s, the sound is simply fantastic!
In issue 6 / 2024 of the wonderful classic car magazine AMERICAN CLASSICS you can find a very nice article about our BOSS 302. Highly recommended reading!
