Model History
The very first series of the T2a was built from August 1967 to August 1968. After August 1968 until the middle of 1971, this T2a, which only had a few technical details changed, continued to be built. This model series is recognizable from the successor model (T2 a/b) on the front end with the indicators below and the side running boards on the bumper as well as on the still rounded rear end with the oval rear lights.
A large part of this model series, and above all those with the popular Westfalia equipment, were primarily sold on the US market. There it became, like the VW "Beetle", a popular symbol of the local flower power movement.
Description
Restored Volkswagen Bully T2A Camper, in alpine white - orange like factory 1969.
The vehicle was imported from California by a southern German family in 2015 and then restored on your behalf.
On the outside, this original camper has the factory color combination of alpine white and orange.
The interior is covered with the green/orange/brown Westfalia checked fabric.
The wooden parts for seats, side panels and cabinets have been renewed.
The technology has also been overhauled, the engine and the transmission as well as the entire drive train work perfectly.
The pop-up roof (mushroom roof) is covered with the typical orange fabric, and the interior also has curtains all around, also in orange fabric.
