Description

According to the data card, this Mercedes 300 d was completed and handed over in July 1958. According to rumors, the orderer was the Swedish embassy in the USA.

The 300 came back to Germany a few years ago as a drivable car, repainted white, to a well-known classic car dealer. He sold the car to our customer in 2016, who had the Mercedes restored at great expense but is now offering it through us. The car is not on site, so an appointment to view it should definitely be arranged if you want to see the car !

The restoration work is well documented with the help of various photos and invoices.

The car was dismantled down to the last screw. Everything has been overhauled, renewed, revised, improved. The effort that has been put in is only inadequately reflected in the price that is now being asked for.

The car was intended for a collector and was designed for him according to his color and equipment wishes. But plans change, such an extensive restoration sometimes takes a few years and so this 300 d unexpectedly comes onto the market.

After the restoration, our “Adenauer” wasn’t even driven in yet.
The main mechanic of the work carried out will certainly take on this task for a while - only in good weather, of course !

This Mercedes 300 was equipped with power steering and an automatic transmission from factory.

The mileage is only read. The total kilometers are not comprehensible.
