Description
According to the data card, this Mercedes 300 d was completed and delivered in July 1958. Legend has it that the Swedish Embassy in the USA commissioned it.
The current owner has undertaken a very extensive restoration, during which our Adenauer was completely disassembled and rebuilt from the ground up. This naturally involved separating the chassis from the body.
The restoration work is well documented with numerous photos and invoices. Since the restoration was completed, our Adenauer has covered approximately 1,000 km and has brought the owner much joy!
The car was disassembled down to the last screw. Everything was overhauled, renewed, reworked, and improved. The effort invested is only inadequately reflected in the current asking price.
