Description
On February 7, 1976, Monsieur Patrice A. from Vouvray, France, ordered this beautiful Citroen sedan from his local dealer in Tours.
The invoice was issued in May 1976: the car cost Patrice A. 39,356 French francs.
The CX remained with the original owner until January 2014. It was probably the second French owner, Monsieur Richard G., who sold this car to our customer in Germany, from whom we have now taken the CX in payment.
The Citroen CX 2200 Super was registered in France with the local H number. The “Datation Vehicles Collection” certificate from 2019 is included in the vehicle file.
Some old invoices and other documents shed light on the history of this exceptionally good Citroen.
The exterior paintwork in a metallic tone called “Roque-brune” is said to have only been offered in one year. A really good Citroen CX is almost impossible to find, but with this unusual color it should be a real rarity.
Citroen's own power steering called DIRAVI (an abbreviation for DIrection assistée à RAppel asserVI, in German: "assisted steering with dependent feedback") made the handling of this relatively large car a lot easier - and in 1976 it had an additional charge of 1,350 French francs cost.
