Description
This Mercedes is a true rarity. A real SL 600 AMG with the wonderful V12 engine. The standard 290 kw (equivalent to 394 hp) has increased to a smooth 324 kw (441 hp) thanks to revised heads including AMG camshafts.
The SL also has an AMG rear silencer, AMG light alloy wheels, an AMG instrument cluster (speedometer up to 300 km/h) and the AMG styling package consisting of front and rear bumpers and sill panels from AMG.
The conversion work was carried out on a new vehicle in 1996 at AMG Germany on behalf of AMG Japan Limited. A written confirmation of this from AMG is included in the vehicle file.
