Description
The last new 560 SL rolled off the production line in August 1989. This 107 was produced in 1989 and is therefore one of the last examples of the 107 series. All model updates benefited this SL.
The successor, the R129, was already in production in March 1989 and initially sold at astonishingly high prices.
Our 560 SL was originally built for export to the USA. It was first registered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The convertible was last owned by a woman from Los Angeles, California. From there, the car was sold in 2008 to a German Mercedes enthusiast from Rostock. He has now asked us to sell this precious car on his behalf.
He deliberately kept the SL's appearance because he likes it very much. Only the headlights have been replaced with those common in Europe. The speedometer is now being Europeanized.
The SL is largely still in its original paint, and the carpet also appears to be original.
