Description
We are offering this fascinating Jensen Interceptor MK III on behalf of its current owner from Hamburg, who has owned the car since February 2011.
The Jensen was registered in Hamburg prior to that as well; the oldest existing vehicle registration document dates back to June 2001.
Over EUR 22,000 has been invested in various work on the vehicle over the last fifteen years or so. Nevertheless, the Jensen now requires some TLC and is therefore being offered through us as a restoration project.
The owner drove the car to us under its own power without any issues, and we subsequently took it for a short test drive in the local area.
According to the "Jensen Owners' Club," exactly 1,205 Interceptor MK III models were manufactured between 1973 and 1976, with precisely 609 of them being left-hand drive.
The Italian firm Touring—specifically Federico Formenti—was responsible for the design. Production took place at Jensen in England, while the engine came from the reliable Chrysler stable.
