Description
Another true rarity in our showroom: one of only seven Mercedes 300 CE 24V 3.4-liter AMG cabriolets ever built!
It was ordered and delivered via the Mercedes-Benz branch in Stuttgart.
The first owner was a famous German footballer who played as a goalkeeper for the German national team!
The cabriolet has always been registered in Germany. The last owner—who sold the AMG to us—had owned this rare 3.4-liter "124 series" model since April 2013. However, the car was not driven much during those years!
Its condition is outstanding; the paintwork is excellent, and the interior is completely original and highly attractive. Our paint thickness gauge detects elevated readings only on the trunk lid; otherwise, the car appears to retain its original paint.
The vehicle file contains a printed internal Mercedes-Benz email mentioning, among other details, the original list price. The cabriolet came with a hefty price tag of DM 170,000 (approximately EUR 85,000 in today's currency)!
