Description
This Mercedes 230 SL Pagoda was delivered new in Germany. This is what the small painted metal plaque on the left side of the engine compartment tells us.
The SL was then exported to America as a very fresh used car. There are various entries in the servicebook, all from the USA.
The current owner, on whose behalf we are now offering the pagoda, registered the SL in March 2005. Two other owners are noted in the vehicle registration document: Helmut B., born in 1939, from Güster, owner from September 1991 to June 1996 and a forwarding company T. from Hamburg (June 1996 to March 2005).
There are some documents from our customer's time that document various labour. For example has the leather interior been renewed in the near past. In it´s current condition it is a wonderful 230 SL for beginners !
The color combination is fantastic and timeless, the Mercedes mechanics are basically indestructible anyway, and the really important power steering is present. - which had been an rather rare extra in that time.
