Description
This Mercedes SL 500 was ordered in Canada with US specifications. Initially, the 500 was based in Ontario, later in Huntsville, Alabama. The convertible has been registered in Germany since 2016, first in Wuppertal, then in Linden.
The second German owner, from whom we acquired the car, recently had the original mile speedometer replaced with a German km/h speedometer.
The mileage is easily verifiable based on the documentation (service booklet, Carfax report, TÜV reports, etc., see below).
According to the data card, the paint has no code number (000 is listed as the color code), but the color is magnificent—and extremely rare. The interior is less spectacular: The top-quality Designo leather features bluish stitching, and instead of the usual burl wood trim, this 129 has carbon fiber trim—also with small blue accents.
A superbly customized Mercedes SL from the fantastic W129 series!
We've never seen this combination before and believe this car is truly unique.
The SL will receive a full service before being handed over to its new owner!
